Our Baltic International Academy has developed strong, friendly academic and scientific ties with the well-known V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. A systematic exchange of teaching staff and students has been established between the higher education establishments within the framework of the International ERASMUS+ programme.
This University actively participates in international scientific and practical conferences hosted by our academy, while BIA researchers participate in organising similar conferences in Ukraine. Its lecturers are welcome guests in BIA classrooms, and our professors and assistant professors deliver guest lectures in Kharkiv.
In June, this list of academic contacts was expanded by a professional visit from two professors of Kharkiv National University – Kateryna Oriekhova and Valerija Kochorba. They had a detailed discussion with the Rector of our academy Vladislav Volkov and the Vice-Rector for International Relations Inta Buka. Particular attention was paid to the prospects of developing joint projects aimed at improving study programmes and scientific research. The guests accepted an invitation to prepare articles for BIA scientific journal – “Baltic Journal of Legal and Social Sciences”.
During the visit, the guests explored the specifics of the master study programmes “Business Management and Administration” and “International Finance and Economics,” which were introduced to them by the director of these programmes Ksenija Doronina, as well as delivered lectures to BIA students.
