The Assembly Hall of the Baltic International Academy was completely full. Graduates of the accredited study fields – “Economics”, “Art”, “Hotel and Restaurant service, Tourism and Recreation Organization”, “Management, Administration and Real Estate Management” – gathered for their festive graduation evening. Their lecturers, friends, parents came to this exciting celebration. The National Anthem of the Republic of Latvia sounded in honour of the graduates, a sea of bright summer flowers was swaying, and heartfelt congratulations and wishes were heard.
Associate Professor, Rector of the BIA Vladislav Volkov addressed the graduates of the year 2025 with warm greetings. He sincerely congratulated them on the successful completion of their studies and wished them to keep moving forward, to improve their professional skills and to increase the good reputation of the Baltic International Academy with their creative work.
Professor Zhanna Tsaurkubule, assistant professors Julia Mahmudova and Nadezhda Pazuhina solemnly presented the well-deserved diplomas of the BIA to the new bachelors and masters. The first to receive the Red Diplomas of the BIA for high academic performance were Maryia Belova (Belarus), Kamola Rakhmatova (Uzbekistan), Perera Neveesha Reshani (Sri Lanka). And for each graduate there were heartfelt words of congratulations and encouragement.
The responses from the graduates were also warm. They sincerely thanked the Baltic International Academy, their lecturers, parents, who helped them acquire modern, in-demand professions and awakened their interest in science and self-improvement. Their speech was complemented by the announcement of the results of a student survey on the awarding of the title “Best BIA Lecturer of 2025”. This title was awarded to Assistant Professors Alla Iljina, Nadezhda Pazuhina and Inese Ratanova.
At the end of the well-deserved celebration of the graduates, the student anthem “Gaudeamus” was played, and the traditional salute with bachelor’s and master’s caps took place.
