On May 22, 2025, the process of an extraordinary accreditation of the Baltic International Academy, initiated by the Ministry of Education and Science, was completed. During this process, a comprehensive analysis of the organisation of work and the quality system of the Academy in Riga, Daugavpils and Liepaja was conducted. By the decision of the Study Quality Commission, the Academy retained its current accreditation, confirming that its activities comply with the regulatory enactments of the Republic of Latvia.
The board of the Academy expresses its gratitude to the academic staff, all personnel, students, graduates and partners for the work done in preparing and conducting the accreditation process.
The Baltic International Academy will continue to provide high-quality education to students, develop scientific activity and strengthen scientific and academic cooperation with universities in Latvia as well as with the scientific and educational environment in Europe and the world as a whole.
The Academy was confident of a positive result and will continue its improvement aimed at strengthening competitiveness, providing high-quality education and developing a European dimension based on common European values and characterised by excellence, inclusivity and academic freedom.
